North Collier’s CISM and Peer Support Team is here to help you navigate the tough calls, the buildup, and everything that can come with this job—stress, anxiety, sleep issues, burnout, grief, and more. Whether you’re going through something right now or just want tools to stay ahead of it, our website has resources to guide you on your mental health journey, including education, coping strategies, and ways to reach out for support. You are not alone in this, and you don’t have to carry it by yourself. If you need someone to talk to, help finding the right resource, or just a nudge in the right direction, we’re here and ready to assist in any way we can.

Chaplaincy: Support Beyond the Call

Chaplains support behavioral health by providing confidential, non-clinical support to
firefighters and support staff. They understand the fire service culture and are often a
first line of support for stress, cumulative trauma, and critical incident exposure.
Through listening, presence, and crisis support, chaplains help reduce stigma around
asking for help and encourage healthy coping. Your Chaplains also serve as a trusted
bridge to peer support and professional behavioral health resources when needed.
